I just registered and love the look of the board!!!!! I was curious why the 70 RR's and grouped with the 71-71's? seems like a better fit in with the 68-69's no? I know there are a one year only with no supporting cast but I think more of the parts cross over to the older cars. just my 2 cents.

I agree 70 should be with 68-69 they share nothing with 71-72 ? how about an aerocar section , superbird , daytona and charger 500 ?

I just registered thanks to moparstuart telling me about the new site. I have a couple of runners, a Superbird clone project and hope to have a real Superbird very soon. I would love to see a section for the Superbirds and Superbird clones. I think those of us that work on and build the Plymouth wingcars can help others to build their own Superbird clones. We have a wealth of information to share.
Oh, and I agree. The 70's are just 68-69's with different exterior sheetmetal. They share almost every other part with the 68's and 69's.

I agree 70 should be with 68-69 they share nothing with 71-72 ? how about an aerocar section , superbird , daytona and charger 500 ? We will add a section dedicated to the Plymouth Superbird. As for Chargers, Charger 500's and Daytonas, I am leary of adding cars other than those directly derived from the Roadrunner. While the Daytona is indeed a winged car, it shares virtually nothing with the Superbird in terms of sheetmetal. As for Chargers and the Charger 500, those cars will not be added here simply because there are forums dedicated to the Charger and they do not carry the Roadrunner emblem. Basically, my mindset is if the car carries a Roadrunner emblem, it belongs. If it doesn't, then you won't see a section on thsi forum for it. Our main goal is to have a site dedicated exclusively to the Roadrunner and not fall into the trap of expanding to include other Mopars that detract from our main focus. As for the '70 Roadrunner, I was kinda torn as to which section to put this year of car. It was basically a year of transition for the Roadrunner in terms of styling and so forth. I have no issues with putting the car in with the 68 & 69's, or we can have a section dedicated exclusively to this year only. Look for a poll in the very near future to let the members here decide where this car should go. ;D

Wasn`t the `75 a one year only body style and the `76 a Volare based bird?If so shouldn`t the `76 be in with the `77-80`s?

At the home page we have the pic of the 75 RR. Can we make that change to the latest pics posted to thesite, new members or folks that want their cars part of a scrolling header that updates a members post or new pix? I'm sure you are probably overloaded right now with the start-up, wish I was more web-savy to help you.

Each week a new image will be posted on the Main Page of a member's car. Any Road Runner that is posted in the Gallery section of the forum is eligible. We are currently going with a 1 week rotation due to the small number of members we have. If I changed images every day or so we would be out of pics in a very short period of time. Sorry, thought it could be automatic and not cause any extra work for you. Just let them bump the others as they came in.

Is there a way to quickly check any new un-read messages in all message boards similar to DodgeCharger.com/forum? I agree. Need some way to check new posts from the last time you logged on.
