This is the first forum that I've seen that is strictly for the Superbirds and Superbird re-creations. There is a great aero section on DC.Com but it is for all of the wingcars and aero cars. The Superbirds tend to get lost over there since it's a Charger board and the Daytonas tend to get the most attention.
There are many people out there that own Superbirds and many that are building Superbird clones. Hopefully I'll be in both categories within a short time. I currently have a 70 Satellite and I've gathered most of the parts to build a g-machine type Superbird re-creation.
I'm also negotiating to buy a real Superbird at this time.
Just for grins, my wife and I recently placed a Superbird wing on our 69 runner. It kind of fills the gap for now since we haven't had the time to start on the SB clone.
We also have a Daytona re-creation that we're finishing up at this time, but plan to sell to finance the Superbird.

it was build with all real superbird parts i aquire back in the 90's from a cat that was tbones and totalled in the late 70's
