Here it is welded in, fit perfectly and it was really easy to do all at once as aposed to one piece at a time. In fact I can't even imagine doing it any other way. Attachments:

I used the jig to mark all of my reference marks and measurements, using it as a baseline and when I got the new section in all of the measurements were within a very small fraction of an inch. Attachments:

Once I got the new section in I finished removing the rotten quarters one at a time. Quite a bit of rot on the understructure because of the typical back window leakage so it was time to look for more doner metal. AMD doesn't make some of this stuff yet, but I'm told it is on its way. Located the necessary parts from a doner vehicle locally shortly after I found that I needed them. What did people do before the internet?. Attachments:

Pretty serious project there, nice work!I replaced the whole floor and frame section like you did on a former race car that was tubbed and it came out pretty nice, was an original `69 440 6pak bird.

The doner parts for the rusted out rear window are in place. Also used a package tray from a `68 Coronet. To date I have tried to use mainly oem parts but I have bought Trunk floor extensions, full quarters, one taillight bucket, the finish panel under trunk lid, pair of lower trunk gutters, filler panel behind rear window, pair of footwell pans and I will be picking up the full interior floor pan. All AMD and all fit very well. Attachments:

Droptop, did you buy it like that or did you strip it down to that?
