I bought it this way. That is a hardtop back half. I had to cut it back into, as the person that started it did not have a clue as to what he was doing. Very slow moving project, but making some progress. All metal has been dipped and I have all the metal parts to make a complete car. Just need the time to make it happen.

Droptop, Holy s##t, now that is a project!. I want to know more about that one. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to work on it lately with the holidays and all. Looking forward to getting back to work on it soon though. Next I need to get it media blasted and primed before I start the outer sheet metal final installation, I hope to have it back on its wheels by spring.

Here it is with its outer sheet metal screwed and clamped in place so I could check panel alignment and locate the trunk lid support bracketry location. Once I got it looking good I was able to weld the rest of the understructure in place. I'll post more, I've done a little more since that last pic. Attachments:

Here it is mocked up with a new bumper to further check the allignment. I removed all the interior floor pans and the upper cowl since the last pic and next I'll remove the trunk lid and the quarters and get the whole thing media blasted and primed before final assembly. Attachments:
