.....but not in the usual way. I was looking for a car in 2005 when I saw this in the 'bag. It was offered by a dealer that was about a 2 hour drive from me. After it didn't meet the reserve a second time, I called them to get some more info on the car. I made two trips out to look at it, then test drive it, and I was able to make the deal. The car had been repainted, and the interior was replaced. But the most important thing is that there is no rust on the car. I've had to do some minor mechanical work ot it, and I've replaced the complete grill, and new tail light bezels. I wanted a car that I could just get in and drive, and this was it. So far the car has been very reliable and I wouldn't be afraid to go most anywhere with it. Attachments:

Strong contender for "Sleeper of the Year"! Low-key, but all business. I like it!

nice ride! How about some details and more pics. Here are some new pics I took today. This is a 383 car, with a 727 behind it going to 3.23s in the rear. It has ps, bucket seats with a center console with a floor shift and is a post car. As far as I know it has all the original sheet metal, and I've had two trusted opinions that the car has no rust anywhere on it. Attachments:

The jacket that I got back in the early 70s. Anybody else have anything like it from the day? Attachments:
