70 Road Runner Horn Problem!

Can anyone tell me which wire is HOT on your horn relay?? I have a new horn, and just installed the correct steering wheel. But still have NO Beep Beep!! My relay has a purple wire, and a green and red wire on one side. The other side is black. The purple wire is hot on my car. Is that correct?? My relay is under the dash on the drivers side.

Violet wire is hot from the juntion after the ampmeter. The green with the red tracer goes to the horn. Black goes to the turnsignal switch. Do you have a good ground at the steering wheel?

Ground should be good, I'll double check it. Any way to find out if the relay is good!

You should be able to here it click. You could also jump the hot wire and the horn wire and see if the horn blows.

There is no click in the relay. The horn is new so that should be good. I hate wiring!!
