Alot of members have mentioned establishing a registry dedicated to the Roadrunner. I will be more than happy to put up a section for a registry here. I'm just wondering how y'all want the registry to work. Do we want to just have a section broken down by years where members can list their info? Should we group certain years together? This is rather unfamiliar territory to me so i need everyone's input regarding this issue. I want to get this section established as soon as possible, but want to make sure it's done right. Let me know please!!!!

Most registries have a common thread. Some information is kept public and some is kept private by the registry keeper. Is it possible to format public view in spreadsheet style to include? Year / Partial VIN (including body style and engine size) / Auto or Manual / Current General location / Current Status (restored, survivor, rust bucket, nom etc.) / thumbnail picture / Date submitted / looking for (buildsheet, original engine etc...) Private would be Full VIN and full contact info of the owner (or submitter). That way if someone wanted to contact the owner, they would go through the registry keeper to see if the owner wants to make contact. I'll attach a link to a registry that was started by someone that I would chat with occasionally when I owned my Spyder VR4. I thought he did a nice job. www.3000gtspyderregistry.com/1995_vr4.html

I'm wondering if there is a downloadable program to organize a registry. I'm thinking it might be a bit easier if we can locate a template and then adapt it to fit our needs. I am STRONGLY against listing the entire VIN publicly of any car for obvious reasons. I do like the format of that forum in the link though. Most registries have a common thread.
